Terms & Conditions

These terms & conditions apply to all users accessing Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha. By entering this site, the user is agreeing to the following.

Privacy Policy

Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha is committed to protecting the privacy of any user or customer accessing this site. We promise that any given personal or financial information will remain confidential on our secure, private server. It will not be reused, shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party or anyone outside of our company, without your written consent.

The personal information we must collect in order to process transactions will include: first and last name, phone number, email address, shipping and billing street address, credit card numbers and account information. We will exclusively utilize this information to process and deliver your order(s), in accordance with the confidentiality in which our company is obligated to respect.  We may contact the customer via email or phone if there are any necessary clarifications to be made in order to complete the transaction process.

Furthermore, the customer’s personal data will be stored in a secure operating environment and will be protected by a login/password account system. It is important to “log out” after every use in order to prevent any unauthorized access to the personal account. The customer may update or delete personal information processed by our company.

Financial Security

Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha has a few payment options: COD, credit card, Net 30, Net 60, Net 90, and ACH/wire transfer. For first time orders we only accept credit card or COD. After the first order is shipped and delivered the customer is allowed to change their payment method. For net terms we ask that the customer fill out a credit application for a reference check. For wire transfers we would provide our banks wiring instructions and the customer would then let us know when they sent the payment.

Please note that Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha does not charge credit cards or deposit any checks without our customers consent. Credit cards will not be kept in our secure system unless the customer request we keep the credit card number for reordering.

Ordering/Minimums

Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha is strictly a wholesale company. We do not have a minimum dollar amount but we sell each item by the dozen. Customers may place orders via e-mail, phone, fax, or through our website. Please use the codes in our catalog when ordering. All of our merchandise is sent in assortments, we do not do specific colors as our merchandise is handmade and comes in assortments to our warehouse.

Shipping

Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha makes every effort to get our customer’s orders processed as quickly and as accurately as possible, usually within 7  to 10 days or sooner if possible. All orders received will be fulfilled in the sequence they are received; however, the full process can take up to 14 business days. If an order must be fulfilled on the same day it is placed, it is necessary for the customer to place the order before 4:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Any order placed otherwise, or on a national holiday, will be processed on the following business day.

Due to the unique nature of our products being handcrafted and imported from Central, and South America, all orders are completed on a first come, first served basis. If any item that has been purchased is out of stock, we will contact the customer before shipping. The customer will be given a few options. For items that are out of stock we can ship the order as is, or make a back order for the items. The customer will then be contacted for approval to ship the back order, once we have the merchandise in stock.

Note: We do not charge shipping on back orders.

All orders can be shipped through 1 of 3 options, USPS, UPS, and FED EX. If the customer has an account with either of these carriers the customer is welcome to provide the account number and then shipping cost are charged to the customers’ account. Shipping cost will be determined by the weight, dimensions, and distance of the destination of the package. Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha will not be responsible for any postal delays.

If the customers’ order exceeds 300lbs we will then contact our third party shipping company and get a quote to ship your merchandise on a pallet. We will the contact you with at least 2 quotes for shipping your order. The customer must then approve either quote or provide their best option. The order will be held in our facilities until the customer contacts us with approval and details on how they would like us to proceed with shipping their order.

Return/Exchange Policy

Please acknowledge that all our products are individually handcrafted and are created out of natural materials. Therefore, we will gladly resolve any inquiry related to a return or exchange of an item or multiple items.  If the customer is dissatisfied with the merchandise for any reason, they must contact us first. We appreciate knowing the reasons for all returns so that we can make any necessary adjustments to improve the quality of our future orders, and to ultimately satisfy our customer’s needs.

If the customer receives their product(s) damaged, broken, defective, or unusable in any way, they must notify us within 10 days upon receiving the order. The item(s) should be returned within 15 days, packaged carefully and in the same condition when received. This is also the case if the customer wishes to return their order due to an error on our part (for example, incorrect item was shipped). We will then replace the ineffective or incorrect item(s) as soon as possible, at no charge. If the customer wishes to only return the item(s) with no replacement, we will accept it and refund the cost of the item(s) being returned or create a credit memo that can be applied towards the customers’ next order. Please note that credit card refunds can take up to 3 to 5 business days to process.

Spirit of Nature, Inc. DBA Pichincha does not make any guarantees on our products. As all of our items are handmade in South America. We are strictly a wholesale company. If the item is not selling for you we are not able to exchange it or take it back. Exchanges/Returns take place when the item is defective or the wrong item was shipped.

Failure to notify us and return the products before the time mentioned above will result in a violation of our terms and conditions and we are then by no means held accountable for any compensation.
